A popular North Wales holiday park has undergone a significant transformation following a period of investment, unveiling a range of new and improved facilities ahead of the summer season.
New Pines Holiday Home Park, located near Dyserth and Rhyl, is part of Darwin Escapes, one of the UK’s leading holiday park operators. The redevelopment includes extensive redecoration, a new outdoor seating area, and upgrades to key amenities.
Major upgrades to leisure facilities
The park’s indoor swimming pool has been fitted with a new tiled floor, enhancing the experience for swimmers. Other improvements include the expansion of the bar restaurant, upgrades to the entertainment complex and Cabaret Lounge stage area, and the addition of a snooker table in the games room—which already boasts pool tables, table football, and air hockey machines.
New Pines, which employs 40 staff and is home to over 300 caravans and lodges, is known for its strong community atmosphere, attracting holiday homeowners from Wales, Merseyside, Cheshire, the Midlands, and beyond.
Investment reflects commitment to owners
Shaun Roberts, Group Head of Sales at Darwin Escapes, says the upgrades highlight their dedication to providing high-quality facilities for holiday homeowners.
“The upgrades we have made over the winter months have been significant,” he said.
“The feedback from owners has already been incredible, and I’m sure the facilities will prove very popular, especially over the summer as the weather improves.”
As part of the redevelopment, gym equipment and technology have been upgraded, and there are plans to introduce special offers and discounts for the public in the future.
“Given the demand, we are looking at ways to open up these exclusive facilities for visitors,” Shaun added.
A thriving holiday destination
New Pines has long been a favourite among families, particularly from the North West, Staffordshire, and the Midlands. Many have been returning for decades, drawn by the park’s community feel, prime location near the beach and countryside, and high-quality facilities.
“This is a park like no other,” Shaun continued. “The sense of community here is unparalleled. We’ve watched several generations of different families grow up at New Pines.”
With demand for holiday home ownership on the rise and recent upgrades enhancing the park’s appeal, Darwin Escapes expects a busy season ahead.
