Global hospitality brand Nobu is set to make its first foray into the Netherlands with the opening of Nobu Restaurant Amsterdam and Nobu Residences Park Meadows Amsterdam. The development, in partnership with Dutch real estate firm Breevast, will bring the brand’s signature blend of luxury and Japanese-inspired design to the prestigious Oud-Zuid district.
The Nobu Residences Park Meadows Amsterdam will offer a mix of private residences for purchase and serviced luxury apartments for extended stays. Residents will experience the hallmark hospitality associated with the Nobu name, with exclusive access to premium amenities, including a wellness centre, in-residence dining, and a dedicated concierge team providing tailored experiences in the city.
The project marks a significant milestone for the Dutch property market as the country’s first branded residences, a concept popular in global luxury destinations but new to the Netherlands. Located near Beatrixpark, the development will combine Nobu’s refined aesthetic with the exclusivity of a prime Amsterdam address.
Culinary Excellence in the Heart of Amsterdam
As part of the development, Nobu will also introduce its first Dutch restaurant, which is expected to become a major culinary attraction. With a backdrop of Beatrixpark, the Nobu Restaurant Amsterdam will feature the brand’s renowned fusion of Japanese flavours and global influences. Designed as a social hub, the restaurant and lounge bar will cater to both locals and international visitors, further enhancing Amsterdam’s reputation as a world-class dining destination.
Situated just moments from Amsterdam’s renowned museums, luxury boutiques, and the Zuidas financial district, the development will blend residential tranquillity with the vibrancy of city life. The combination of minimalist Japanese-inspired interiors and the natural setting of Oud-Zuid is expected to attract discerning buyers and travellers seeking a high-end yet understated experience.
A Strategic Move for Nobu and Breevast
Trevor Horwell, CEO of Nobu Hospitality, highlighted Amsterdam as a key location for the brand’s European expansion.
“Amsterdam is a dynamic European location for Nobu, with its vibrant culinary scene, cultural landscape, and understated approach to luxury. We are delighted to be partnering with Breevast to bring Nobu Restaurant and Residences Park Meadows Amsterdam to life, marking our first project in the Netherlands,” he said.
Breevast’s CEO, Henk Brouwer, welcomed Nobu’s presence in Amsterdam, calling it a validation of the project’s quality.
“We are honoured that a prestigious global brand like Nobu will partner with Breevast. Nobu Residences is not only a tremendous asset for Amsterdam but will also be the first branded residence in the Netherlands. Nobu’s choice of our location at the edge of Beatrixpark confirms that our plans and designs are of absolute quality,” he said.
Christopher Khoi, Managing Director of RCP Finance, which facilitated the collaboration, expressed confidence in the project’s success.
“This project is set to be a tremendous success in Amsterdam,” he said.
With its combination of world-class dining and high-end residential living, Nobu’s arrival in the Netherlands marks a new chapter in Amsterdam’s luxury property and hospitality market.
